Are you wearing an old tatty bra?
I still don't understand why so many women are wearing ugly and ill-fitting bras. Most major department stores do bra fittings and you don't have to pay a lot of money to find something that fits.
Bras at Marks and Spencer range from £8.00- £25-00
I find women usually say "this is just an old bra I don’t know why I’m wearing it". Didn’t someone once say wear nice knickers in case you’re ever in an accident and have to go to the hospital? Wasn’t good underwear just etiquette?
I’m not sure if it’s laziness or just pure neglect. Wouldn’t you want your breasts to be supported by nice pretty fabric? I think we get lazy about our bodies. We complain that our breast are too big or too small or have changed shape... We take our health, our breasts for granted until something happens.
Bras don’t last forever: the elasticity starts to go and then it’s time to get a new bra. Don't forget to tighten the straps - most women seem to forget that the straps are adjustable for a reason. Hand washing your bras might be a bit of a pain but they will last longer, if you do throw them in the washing machine at least put them in a mesh lingerie bag. The right bra can completely change how a garment hangs on your body. A bra can lift your breasts up giving you a waist and longer torso. A padded bra can give you great shape in a sweater. It all depends on what you need - you'll have different bras that are worn with different looks and your needs will be different depending on your bra size.
Rigby and Peller dress the Queen so you can be certain they know what they're doing. The black Empreinte Bettina Underwired Moulded T-Shirt Bra is £64.95. It's essential to have a t-shirt bra as it won't make lines under fine jersey. Depending on your breast size and shape the Huit Anouk Padded Plunge Bra with removable pads will work with a low cut dress or V-neck and it's £43.95. The style of bras that you purchase will be determined by your breast size and shape and your own personal style.
