Snow Day in London!

Today I feel resilient, energetic - happy and very Canadian. It's the snow, there's hardly any traffic and most of the shops in my neighbourhood are either closed or closing early today. Nobody is shovelling the snow on the sidewalk because no one here owns a shovel. There's no salt on the road so at least you can wear suede boots but I have my trustworthy Cushe with sherling wool lining. So cosy!!

Anyway it's not cold but London has come to a standstill. Most of the tube lines are down and there are no buses or trains.

All my meetings have been cancelled and I'm not sure if my shoot is on tomorrow so it's a day about biscuits and tea.

The few people who are out today seem kind of happy and they're dressed for the snowy weather!

Love the snowmen. Two little kids made the one on the left.
Me: "Where did you get the scarf?"
Them: "It's our mum's."
Me: :"Does she know?"
Them - "No."
