Great British Attire

Every time I'm near Old Bond Street and Piccadilly Street I always seem to spot a handsome man. I almost fell over running across the street, making a mad dash to take this photo. Seeing a man look so dashing on a bicycle is quite a thrill. He sort of reminded me of a British Donald Draper (Mad Men).

I took his photo and we exchange cards. After reading his card it wasn't surprizing that he had such great style as Donald McFarlane is the managing director of a new website Great British Attire. - An online collective that will be bringing you the latest in the world of menswear, art and style. It will be your guide to the world of custom tailoring and bespoke craftsmanship.

Donald describes his style "When it comes to style, I try to be as classic as possible. Cary Grant meets Hercule Poirot, with a dash of Steve McQueen. Simplicity and cleanliness are key. I do not have a favorite designer. I'm more of a style over fashion guy, so I don't worry too much about labels, but I'll give you a quick run down on what I was wearing. Hat: Trilby by Lock and Co, Velvet Jacket: Aquascutum (1970's), Shirt: Hilditch and Key, Tie: Hermes, Trousers: Ede and Ravenscoft, Shoes: Peal & Co, sunglasses: Rayban, Watch: Cartier."
