J’adore Paris - Paris Fashion Week
Oh how I love Paris Fashion Week, the glitz, the glamour and the cream of the crop front row. I was pleased to see Kate Moss on the front row at YSL, she looked back on top form in her chic black outfit along with her beau Jamie Hince. They looked great together and she looked sensational in her outfit. Her sheer black top and super high boots showed Kate has still got ‘it’, whatever ‘it’ is.
I was really excited to see Stella Mc Cartney and her designs, her frou frou dresses have got me all excited for next season. I was so pleased to see frills and colour – we need some fun and some room to breathe after a season of body-con dressing. Hell, we might even be able to eat carbs again. Hallelujua!
The Chanel show brought Prince to the front row, he was wearing a pair of boots with a ridiculously high heel (for a man) which just goes to show the ‘meel’ – the man heel is the trend du jour for heterosexual males out there. Eek! I’m not sure how I’d feel if my date were teetering around on a pair of 2 inch heels… hmmm, wrong!
My favourite moment of Paris? Lily Allen rising from a trapdoor amidst the models working the Chanel runway. She looked like she was having the best time of her life in her Chanel outfit of black and gold sequins.
So Spring Summer Fashion Week is over, done, finito. It’s time to wear the trends we were excited about seven months ago – that’s just the way it goes. Ah,,, now where can I find the perfect leather skirt?
