Red Lipstick...the little black dress of the makeup world!

Any woman with the tiniest whisper of fashion will have a fool proof, wonder of LBD in her closet. The LBD dress is instant glamour; it gives the wearer a combo of sex appeal and self assured confidence. I feel women should have the same fool proof instant power product in their makeup kits... the perfect red lipstick.

On a clean face with barely there product can give the wearer a strong, edgy, androgynous tone straight off the catwalk.  A red lipstick worn with a flick of black cream eye liner on the eyes can give the wearer a dash of flavour straight out of Mad Men. Create a moody, oversized smoky eye paired up with a red lip and you've got 1930s silent film star personified. But which one to choose? I was asked to go shopping with the beauty editor from Celebs on Sunday to create, pick, choose create a chart of red lipstick for every skin tone.  My absolute favourites are Giorgio Armani 401 and Benefits Flirt Alert. They are the most wearable colour for most skin tones, feel nice on the lips and has lasting power.
