How would you describe your fashion style?
Fashion is how you feel.... I'm pretty laid back but doll like. So probably grunge dolly is my style. AKA pretty dresses with chip nails and leather jackets. But I kinda just go with it - my hair is my statement thanks to the wonderful Tim at Tony&Guy - who sorted my dyi home job...
Who are your favourite designers?
There are soooo many but I love William Tempest sooo much I think if i could swan about in a William Tempest dress everyday I so would plus he's the nicest guy. I love vintage prom dresses too!
Favourite shop?
High street it's Topshop, Beyond Retro for my vintage dresses and my dream shop is The Shop at Bluebird and the Selfridges handbag department.
How would you describe your music?
I find it really hard to describe and I don't want to put us in a genre people disagree with but I think its folk pop but with an American western feel to the sound. So our lyrics are heart felt pop tunes, ready for your dancing shoes but our sound is rooted deep from folk and American country.
How old were you when you wrote your first song?
About 13, about a boy in a band called the Kabeedies from Norwich who I became obsessed with and I wrote a song about him ignoring me and my undeniable love for him haha.
Who is Fleur de Lis? Tell us about your band.
Fleur De Lis is a 4 piece British folk/pop band. Its me Bleu Mae on Lyrics and Vocals - John Landau on Guitar - Jeremey on Percussion and Paul on Double bass. For future shows we maybe bringing in a special session musician with a cool instrument.
