The Elegance of Guerlain

Recently my makeup agent, Artist's by Timothy Priano organized a makeup seminar in NYC with Guerlain to help familiarize its artists with the brand. For myself and the attending makeup artists, it was like being a kid inside the Willy Wonka factory. It was hard for us to contain our squeals of delight when playing with the products. When it comes to beautiful cosmetic packaging, Guerlain is at the top of the list. They collaborate designers from all over the world including rock and roll royalty - Jade Jagger. The products are simply elegant. The double ended mascara, Le 2 De Guerlain is a designer's masterpiece.

It looks more like architecture than a cosmetic but fantastically the mascara itself is a fab product too. It creates intense length for lashes. Another product from Guerlain that I now adore is the Meteirites Perles, a light diffusing perfecting primer. It leaves a glossy fresh shimmer base on the skin. I can't wait to have a play with it on my next shoot!
