Blitz - Vintage Department Store

I love vintage shopping but this is the first vintage department store that I've been to! Blitz is 5-room Victorian warehouse space that covers 9,000 sq feet. It boasts more stock than any other vintage store in London it seems to have everything from vintage poloroid cameras to an array of trendy over-dyed shorts. I love the merchandising and everything is so well thought out, it's easy to navigate the shop, and there are little stories displayed everywhere. In some ways it reminds me of what Urban Oufitters originally used to be like when it first opened. Within ten miniutes of being in the shop there were already four items that I wanted to buy and I'm quite a particular shopper! Can't wait to go back.

I really enjoyed the shopping experience at Blitz because it was just that at - an experience. It was interesting and inspiring. It still had that vintage smell but it felt authentic. When so many retailers seem to be failing at giving customers a unique experience it's refreshing to see a vintage shop doing just that.
