Confetti and Kate Nash At 02 Shepherd's Bush Empire
I do love my job and last night was no exception, except that it was more like explosions of happiness! I was styling Kate Nash for her show at the 02 Shepherd's Bush Empire. Even before the show started the whole atmosphere was delightful. When I arrived in the mid afternoon there was ready a queue of super cute girls outside, and inside while Kate was doing sound check the 'Street Team,' had just arrived to meet Kate and celebrate with a pizza party! In each city that Kate has been performing in there have been 'street teams' putting up Kate Nash show posters.Kate opened the show alone on stage, singing an a cappella rendition of ‘Lullaby for an Insomniac'. It was just a brilliant night of girls celebrating -  and celebrating everything! One of my favourite parts of the evening  was 'the stage invasion' where a group of girls are invited on stage to dance, with a finale of many of them exiting the stage by crowd surfing, and just when you think it can't get any better there was an explosion of confetti from two confetti cannons! The party didn't end there: after the show once the band had left, a group of fans were still celebrating while the crew packed everything up, dancing away to (I've Had) The Time Of My Life!
