Columbia Road Flower Market & Christmas

Sometimes I find it hard to tell when it's the weekend - I find one day just seems to roll into the next. I've decided to make a conscious effort that when I do have a weekend or even just one day off to take advantage of it. I love that in my neighbourhood there are so many weekend events that I can go to, and every Sunday is the Columbia Road Flower Market. It's been around since the 1860s and there are now lots of galleries and cafes on the street. Many of them are open quite early so you can have a bacon bap and a latte for breakfast.It's fun to decorate the house in poinsettias and hang Christmas wreaths on the door. In my head I know it's just too early for Christmas but then I think why not, why be so cynical? It's just a few plants.
