Global Fashion Awards Short List Breakthough Talent 2015!

This year is the 5th WGSN Global Fashion Awards. They receive hundreds of entries that are then judged by an international panel of experts, attracting entries from more than 50 countries. It's important to recognize and celebrate new talent, and my favourite category is Breakthough Talent and previous winners include William Tempest ,Emma J Shipley, Emma YeoThis year British jewellery designer Sarah Angold is designing WGSN Global Fashion Awards 2015 trophies. ‘When we first spoke with WGSN about this project, we wanted to understand how we could design a trophy that represented exactly what the WGSN Global Fashion Awards are about.  That is, bringing together the most innovative and influential, rising and established fashion talent from across the globe.  So we drew inspiration from the world’s fashion epicenters and, using iconic pieces of their skylines, created a fantasy building that captures the essence of each capital city’.The WGSN Global Fashion Award winners will receive their ‘Global Fashion Skyscrapers’ award at the Park Lane Hotel on May 14th 2015.BREAKTHROUGH TALENTAvery Dennison RBIS Emerging Brand
