Fashion Editorial: Into The Forest
This is one of my favourite fashion shoots and it's quite special to me for several reasons. Before my husband died I told him I wanted to shoot in a forest and he found this location for me in Wandsworth Common. The designer featured is Hannah Williams, I've known her for a few years as she was one of Fashion Scout's Ones to Watch. Chris and I saw her MA graduate collection at RCA and we really loved it. The collection was made from silicone and sculpted on the model. We do shoots for different reasons. Sometimes it's to earn our living, sometimes it's to work with an inspiring team and sometimes it's for fun. This one was for fun and sentiment. I love shoots that have a slightly other worldly or magical feel to them. There are several ways to get that feel. For this shoot our photographer Emma Woolwich, used a Lomography Petzval 85 Lens, it gave the shoot a wonderful feel - something that's quite hard to do in post, as it focus on the subject and gives the background a field curvature, a swirl.
