Urban Outfitters

I'm often out shopping as I'm always looking for things for other people or for shoots. I find when I'm working I can't focus on myself so I never seem to have the opportunity to shop for me!

It's been so hot lately that I realized that I'm in need of some summer clothes and with the sales on lately it's the perfect time. During the sales I realize that it's often the merchadising that puts me off going into a shop. It's often too messy or has that jumble sale feel. Actually sometimes I can be attracted by that jumble sale feel, but more likely in a vintage fair or secondhand shop than on the high street.

Shopping should feel like a day off so I wanted it to be a pleasant, unrushed experience. I think that when most of us go shopping we don't really take the appropriate amount of time - we try and do it on a lunch break or quickly after work and in a rush end up buying something we don't really love. It's important to take your time, though, and I find it best to do early in the morning to beat the crowds.

Sometimes I'll walk into a shop, scout the merchandise and walk right back out. Some shops always seem to grab me, though. We all have a favourite shop we end up in, and I often end up in Urban Outfitters. I've bought loads of super soft jersy t-shirts form them in the past and a couple of dresses too. I like their designer collections lately - lots of cute dresses on sale from See by Chloe, TBA and Vanessa Bruno.
